Green Snoqualmie Earth Day Volunteer Event

April 17, 9:00 am1:00 pm

Snoqualmie

Join us in celebrating Earth Day in Snoqualmie by volunteering. We will be caring for Mother Earth by removing aggressive weeds that threaten our community’s forest at Jeanne Hansen Community Park. This park has had some large patches of aggressive blackberries and has seen a massive transformation since volunteers started working here in 2019. We need help to ensure this forested area continues on the path toward recovery.

This event will happen in two 2-hour shifts, one at 9:00am, and one at 11:00am.

Due to the pandemic and public safety, our events will not be greater than 10 volunteers and you must sign up ahead of time to join us; walk-up volunteers will be turned away.

Gloves, tools, and instruction provided. Family-friendly.

Green Snoqualmie Partnership Vision: A city with healthy forests that provide high-value habitat for wildlife and access for residents and visitors to experience nature, supported by an aware and engaged community that is working together to restore and care for these lands.
