Interested in getting outside and caring for your local parks? The Snohomish County Healthy Forest Project is looking for volunteers who would like to join our community, commit to a park, and help with restoration efforts! With the support and training from staff, Forest Stewards work on their own, with other Stewards, or lead volunteer events to help manage parks in ways such as planting native flora and removing introduced plants.
We will be holding our next Forest Steward orientation on Wednesday, June 16th from 6 – 8 pm. Join us to learn about our forest management plan and learn more about our forest steward program. Email email@example.com for more information or sign up using the link below. This orientation is the first step to becoming a Forest Steward.
