Neighbors and volunteers are joining together to help transform this park from weedy patches of scotch broom and blackberry to a thriving, sustainable forest. The effort has just begun, the weeds need to get taken out before we can begin planting native trees. Come help!
Forest restoration activities: Remove invasive non-native plants such as Scotch Broom and Himalayan blackberry.
What to bring: Come dressed to work outside (rain or shine) with sturdy shoes. Bring a water bottle or coffee cup. We will provide coffee, refreshments, and light snacks, plus tools and work gloves.
Youth volunteers: If you are under 18 and attending the event without a parent or guardian, please come to the event with a Youth Waiver signed by a parent or guardian. The youth waiver can be found here.
Please RSVP for the event by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org / 425-238-0065
