Help Restore a Bird-Watching Paradise!

June 24, 2017, 9:00 am12:00 pm

Meadowbrook Pond is a beautiful community asset and home to numerous birds and other wildlife. But it needs your help! Tree Ambassador Anna will be leading volunteers to remove the aggressive weeds threatening the trees and other healthy vegetation around the pond.

What to Bring: Dress for the weather: wear closed toe shoes and long pants, and make sure to bring along a water bottle. Some tools will be provided, but please bring wheelbarrows, tarps, shovels, and loppers if you have them!

Where to Meet: Meet at the entrance to Meadowbrook Pond off the dead end of 36th Ave NE, south of NE 110th St

If you are interested in volunteering with the Tree Ambassadors on December 17th, please RSVP HERE.

This event is held in partnership with the City of Seattle’s Trees for Seattle Tree Ambassador program.
