An event every month that begins at 9:00 am on day Fourth of the month, repeating until June 28, 2020

Thornton A. Sullivan Park - Green Everett

Join us to care for the forests along the shores of Silver Lake! Since Green Everett Day 2019, we have planted nearly a hundred trees to grow a forest where a blackberry patch used to be, help us ensure this thrives into the future!

What to expect: Volunteers will be working to remove weeds, plant native trees and shrubs, and care for plants – task will depend on the season and needs of each site. Most of the work is fairly physical, but there are tasks that all ages and abilities can help out with.

What to bring: Come dressed to work outside (rain or shine) with sturdy shoes. Bring a water bottle or coffee cup. We will provide tools, instruction, and work gloves.

If you are under 18 and will NOT be accompanied by a supervising adult/parent/guardian, you will need to bring the youth release waiver form signed by your parent/guardian to the event, which can be found here.

The Green Everett Partnership Vision: Healthy forested parklands supported by an aware and engaged community in which individuals, neighborhoods, nonprofits, businesses, and city government are all working together to protect and maintain their valuable public resources.
