Help Us Grow Our Forest at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park!

June 11 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 9:00 am on Saturday, repeating until July 2, 2022

Start your weekend with panoramic views of Puget Sound and the Olympia Mountains while we take care of native habitat restoration areas! We’ll be getting rid of invasive species like blackberries, scotch broom, and ivy. We’ll also show you our unique and water-saving irrigation system, and how you can set it up in your own gardens to save water and keep your plants happy and healthy.
No experience is necessary; just an interest in having fun while protecting native habitat. We provide all of the tools and work gloves, but you are welcome to bring your own. We appreciate everyone who comes to help us restore nearshore habitat at the park!
