This will be our third event at Jeanne Hansen Park and we are excited to keep this work going! In preparation for planting season, which starts in October, we will be clearing invasive weeds to make room for new native plants! Native plants help to provide more benefits to our wildlife that call our urban forest home.
What to bring: Come dressed to work outside (rain or shine) with sturdy shoes. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. Snacks, tools, and work gloves provided.
Please Note: Try not to leave anything valuable visible in your vehicle.
If you are under 18 and will NOT be accompanied by supervising adult/parent/guardian you will need to bring the youth waiver release form signed by your parent/guardian to the event.
Green Snoqualmie Partnership Vision: A city with healthy forests that provide high-value habitat for wildlife and access for residents and visitors to experience nature, supported by an aware and engaged community that is working together to restore and care for these lands.
