Tacoma

***Event Full*** Email Charlie to be put on the waiting list at cvogelheim@forterra.org

In memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, we invite you to observe MLK Day as a “day on, not a day off” by improving your Tacoma community and helping to improve its vital natural areas. We will be out at Gog Le Hi Te Wetlands, one of the Port of Tacoma’s wetland restoration projects, planting native trees and shrubs. This will improve the natural habitat and ecological functions of this ecologically important site that will benefit the greater Tacoma community.

Location: Gog Le Hi Te Wetlands (map)

When: Monday, January 21st, 9:00am to 12:00pm

What to bring: Wear closed-toed shoes and appropriate layers for working outside, rain or shine! Please bring a reusable water bottle – we will bring the coffee and snacks!

If you are a volunteer under 18 and attending the event without a parent or guardian, please print and bring this waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
