MLK Day of Service at Redmond’s Arthur Johnson Park

Have fun, do good, and get involved with the Green Redmond Partnership! Join our Forest Steward at Arthur Johnson Park for a fun morning alongside your friends, burn some calories, and help keep our forests green and healthy! We’ll be removing invasive weeds to make room for trees and native plants to thrive.

Everyone can help! All ages are welcome and no experience is necessary. We will provide all of the tools and training needed. Friends and family members are welcome, but please RSVP in advance to help us plan for a great event.

What to bring: tough, warm clothes, and shoes that can get dirty. We’ll have coffee and light snacks to get the day going.

Where to meet: Arthur Johnson Park is located at the corner of NE Union Hill Road and 196th Ave NE. The closest estimated address is 19513 Union Hill Road. Look for Green Redmond Partnership event signs.

Where to park: there is parking at Martin Park, directly across the street (Union Hill Road) from Arthur Johnson Park. Look for Green Redmond Partnership signs and staff directing parking. If you arrive late, follow posted signs to park at Martin Park and carefully cross Union Hill Road to join us at the volunteer site.

All ages welcome. If you are under 18 and plan to volunteer without a parent or guardian with you,please bring this waiver on the day of the event printed and signed by a parent or guardian..
