Volunteers removing blackberry

**THIS EVENT IS FULL**

Come and volunteer with the Snohomish County Healthy Forest Project at Meadowdale Beach Park for a Day of Service on Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 17. We will meet at the upper parking lot for an orientation and then walk into the park about a mile to work on invasive ivy. On the way there are 86 steps to descend and we will need to climb back up all 86 steps on the return. Be prepared for cool and wet conditions with warm clothing and rain gear if the weather is threatening. The trail to the lower park just reopened after being closed for stream restoration work so come and enjoy this gem of the Snohomish County Parks network!

We know not everyone has Martin Luther King, Jr Day off, so if you still want to spend the day of service helping improve your local parks and working with your community, we’re also having an event on Saturday January 15th at McCollum Park!
