Orange-Gate Park is a hidden gem of Pierce County Park system. Located within the Summit-Waller Community, this 160 acre park is heavily forested and currently provides unimproved walking, biking and horse trails. There is a long history of involvement and stewardship of this keystone property by the citizens of Summit-Waller and a small group of individuals currently helps to care for the park.
Come join us for a short walk through the park and get introduced to some of the wildlife that inhabit this forested gem. We will also discuss habitat restoration opportunities and potential future improvements, especially along the Pipeline Trail.
We will meet at the corner of 84th Ave E and 46th Ave E at 10AM. There is only street parking so carpooling is encouraged.
