The Highline-SeaTac Botanical Garden is an amazing community resource, with a rose garden, fruit trees, a traditional Japanese garden and a beautiful woodland area! We’ll be working to turn an overgrown area of the park into a usable woodland! Join the Forterra and the Green SeaTac Partnership to help achieve this goal!
What to expect: Volunteers will be planting native trees and shrubs. Most of the work is fairly physical, but there are tasks that all ages and abilities can help out with.
What to bring: Come dressed to work outside (rain or shine) with sturdy shoes. Bring a water bottle or coffee cup. We will provide tools, instruction, and work gloves.
Youth volunteers: If you are under 18 and attending the event without a parent or guardian, please come to the event with a Youth Waiver signed by a parent or guardian. The youth release waiver can be found here.
