Join the Green Everett Partnership for a morning at Thornton A. Sullivan. Bring your friends, family, and neighbors to protect the trees and native plants of this beautiful forested park. This is a great opportunity to get outside, burn some calories, meet some fellow community members, and to do something good for Everett parks!
Forest restoration activities: Planting native species and removing invasive non-native plants such as English ivy and Himalayan blackberry.
What to bring: Come dressed to work outside (rain or shine) with sturdy shoes. Bring a water bottle or coffee cup. We will provide coffee, refreshments, and light snacks, plus tools and work gloves.
Youth volunteers: If you are under 18 and attending the event without a parent or guardian, please come to the event with a Youth Waiver signed by a parent or guardian. The Green Everett Partnership youth release waiver can be found here.
Please RSVP for the event by contacting email@example.com / 425-238-0065
The Green Everett Partnership Vision: Healthy forested parklands supported by an aware and engaged community in which individuals, neighborhoods, nonprofits, businesses, and city government are all working together to protect and maintain their valuable public resources.
