August 15, 2017, 9:00 am12:00 pm

Green Redmond Volunteers

Join the Green Snoqualmie Partnership and the Snoqualmie Valley YMCA for this volunteer restoration event where we will be helping to restore the beautiful Stillwater Bog in the middle of Snoqualmie Ridge. We will be removing invasive plants that have begun growing in the forests surrounding the bog that threaten the health of our forest. This event is open to all ages and abilities and great for families.

What to bring: Come dressed to work outside (rain or shine) with sturdy shoes. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. Tools, and work gloves provided.

If you are under 18 and will NOT be accompanied by supervising adult/parent/guardian you will need to bring the youth waiver release form signed by your parent/guardian to the event.

Green Snoqualmie Partnership Vision: A city with healthy forests that provide high value habitat for wildlife and access for residents and visitors to experience nature, supported by an aware and engaged community that is working together to restore and dare for these lands.
