Celebrate summer and spend some time outdoors and volunteer in Everett as we work together to restore the forest at Thornton A. Sullivan Park with the Green Everett Partnership.  Bring your friends, family, and neighbors to protect the trees and native plants of this beautiful forested park.  Stay after and enjoy a swim at Silverlake!

Forest restoration activities:  Remove invasive non-native plants such as English ivy and Himalayan blackberry.  No experience required.

What to bring:  Come dressed to work outside (rain or shine) with sturdy shoes. Bring a water bottle or coffee cup.  We will provide coffee, refreshments, and light snacks, plus tools and work gloves.

Where to meet:  Park in main parking lot and enter at pedestrian gate.  Look for Green Everett Partnership signs and registration table near the Camp Patterson lawn.  Call 425-238-0065 if you can’t find us.

Youth volunteers: If you are under 18 and attending the event without a parent or guardian, please come to the event with a Youth Waiver signed by a parent or guardian. The Green Everett Partnership youth release waiver can be found here.

Please let us know if you are planning to attend so we can have enough snacks and tools. More information and to RSVP for an event contact greeneverett@forterra.org / 425-238-0065

IMPORTANT: Do not leave valuable in your car.  Leave computers at home, keep other valuable that you need to have out of site or with you during the event.

The Green Everett Partnership Vision: Healthy forested parklands supported by an aware and engaged community in which individuals, neighborhoods, nonprofits, businesses, and city government are all working together to protect and maintain their valuable public resources.  Learn More: www.greeneverett.org
