A reception celebrating a year of progress catalyzing a market for cross laminated timber (CLT) and other mass timber products in the Pacific Northwest region. From federal legislation to state supported pilot projects, we’re excited to share some early wins and preview exciting opportunities for the year ahead.
Sustainably-sourced cross laminated timber and other mass timber products offer a potentially powerful way to strengthen rural economies and restore our forests while sequestering carbon in energy-efficient, beautiful buildings. Over the last year, Forterra has brought together stakeholders from across Washington around a unified strategy to catalyze a CLT market in the state. Together, we are channeling broad interest into concerted action to ensure that Washington is a leader in building for a sustainable future. By invitation only- space is limited.
