Fall Monthly Work Party at the Duwamish Hill Preserve

This Fall come out to explore the Duwamish Hill Preserve while preparing the site for planting in October. This gem of a park is a culturally significant site in our region, and can use more helping hands to assist in its restoration. Invite your friends, family, and coworkers to get your hands dirty at this monthly work party!

Volunteer with the Friends of the Hill!

The unique ecosystems at the Duwamish Hill Preserve highlight oak savannahs, camas prairie, wet sedge meadow, and the tule wetland. The hill itself is a geological wonder and is actually older than Mt. Rainier! Come out this November to finish planting and mulching to prepare the saplings for winter!
