Green Shoreline Partnership
What is the Green Shoreline Partnership?
The Green Shoreline Partnership is a unique public/private partnership which will build upon existing forest restoration efforts to establish a city-wide community-based stewardship program to support long-term restoration and maintenance of Shoreline’s parks and open spaces. The Green Shoreline Partnership will work to: improve the quality of life, connections to nature, and enhance forest benefits for Shoreline’s residents; galvanize an informed and active community of stewards; and ensure long-term sustainable funding and community support of forest restoration efforts.
The Green Shoreline Partnership will bring together the City, Forterra, thousands of community volunteers, and local nonprofits and businesses to create a sustainable network of healthy forested parks and natural areas in Shoreline.
