We’re closing out the season with a special volunteer day at Patterson Creek Preserve\, a stunning forested property teeming with biodiversity and brimming with potential. \nOn Friday\, November 21\, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM\, you’re invited to help us plant native trees to support wildlife\, boost ecosystem health\, and create more green space for all to enjoy. \nWe’ll begin with a short walk through the preserve and hear from restoration professionals about how thoughtful land stewardship creates real impact. Come ready to learn about ecological restoration\, the role of social trails\, and how Forterra is redefining land conservation in the Pacific Northwest. \nThank you to Swire Coca-Cola for sponsoring this Forterra Friday. \nWhat we are doing: We’ll be planting native trees along social trail areas to expand habitat\, improve soil stability\, and increase the overall health of the preserve. This work supports not just local species\, but larger climate resilience goals. You will also gain valuable insights into ecological restoration and our innovative approach to land conservation. \n \nWhat we are doing: We will be planting native shrubs and trees to support local wildlife and provide more ecosystem benefits. This is a special site to Forterra and a great spot to learn about ecological restoration\, Patterson Creek Preserve\, and Forterra’s role as an unconventional land trust.  \n  \nWhat to bring: Please wear weather appropriate gear and bring a water bottle.
