Forterra’s Ampersand Magazine goes from page to stage at the Moore Theatre!
Ampersand Live is an evening of edgy and nerdy unrehearsed stories and performances about the Pacific Northwest by all-local artists, performers, musicians, writers, and more.
Local writer, actor, and singer Sarah Rudinoff hosts a stellar lineup of (always) all-local contributors:
Lynda V. Mapes | journalist
Jéhan Òsanyìn | storyteller
Tracy Rector | filmmaker/activist
Susan Robb | visual artist
okanomodé | performer
Sofia Jaramillo | photographer
The Westerlies | brass quartet
Paul Souders | photographer
Lyanda Haupt | writer
Keiko Green | actor
William Gaines | wildlife ecologist
Jade Solomon Curtis | choreographer/dance artist
Starting at 6:00 pm, join us in celebrating the launch of the newest issue of Ampersand magazine with music from KEXP DJ Sharlese Metcalf, mingling with contributors and prizes. Like, really insane prizes, thanks to our amazing partners. Here’s a sneak preview of some of them:
SEE HAMILTON | Two tickets to the Tony award-winning musical at the Paramount Theatre
SKI STEVENS | Season pass to Stevens Pass
GET CULTURED | Two tickets to Seattle Art Museum’s SAM REMIX | Two 4-packs of tickets to Auntie Mame screening at Three Dollar Bill Cinema | Gift certificate to On The Boards performing arts theatre | Six general admissions tickets to the Wing Luke Museum | “Colossal Cut” 8lb triangle of Beecher’s signature Flagship cheese, in a display box
Forterra members will receive four chances to win at the door. If you’ve been waiting for an opportunity like this to become a member at the $45+ level, you, too, can receive four chances at the giveaways. You can also “purchase” additional chances to win.
Then, of course, after the pre-show, is the show! That starts at 7:30 pm. See you there!
