Forterra Nature Discovery: Nature Journaling

August 16 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Event Overview:

Nature Journaling is for everyone.  Led by Nora Prindle, this event offers a creative way to capture the essence of any experience in a way that is uniquely yours. Not only are we using words to capture the heart of things, we are also using drawing – a kind of imagery shorthand that amplifies what we are witnessing. It’s a new way of experiencing nature with words, sketches and doodles. No previous art skills are required. Nora will offer tips on drawing, media and basic supplies.

About Nora Prindle:

Nora is an artist and naturalist with a passion for capturing the beauty of the natural world. She has certificates in Natural Science Illustration from the University of Washington and Nature Journal Education from the Wild Wonder Foundation. As a co-caretaker of Morse Wildlife Preserve, she finds inspiration in the native wildlife and believes that drawing nature and sharing it with others can foster a deeper appreciation and commitment to protecting the natural world.
