Shoreline Park Work Party

November 13 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Please join us in keeping the small forest of Shoreline Park beautiful! If we love this park, it will keep loving us right back.

We’re dreaming of a park free of invasive plants and filled with native plants. Work areas are manageable, and we think we can really make a difference in just a few years. On this day, we’ll be cutting and digging out Himalayan blackberry and working to preserve the trailing blackberry, salal, ferns, and other native plants already thriving. We’ll also be hauling mulch to the cleared area.

All are welcome to attend and no experience is necessary; just an interest in having fun while protecting native habitat. We provide all of the tools and work gloves, but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish. We provide all of the tools and work gloves, but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish.

Preregistration is encouraged!
