Summer Restoration at Curtis Park with Green Snoqualmie

July 23, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

A volunteer helps restore her local park

We need YOU to join us at Curtis Park on Snoqualmie Ridge to save the forest from introduced weeds! We will be removing unwanted blackberries and herb robert (aka Stinky Bob). The forest behind Curtis Park is a wonderful asset to the community but the forested areas are being threatened by newly established aggressive weeds, and it is necessary to remove these before planting any new trees and shrubs.

Green Snoqualmie Partnership Vision: A city with healthy forests that provide high-value habitat for wildlife and access for residents and visitors to experience nature, supported by an aware and engaged community that is working together to restore and care for these lands.
