Forterra Fridays: November 2024

November 15, 1:30 to 3:30 pm

We’re excited to invite you to a special volunteer day at Patterson Creek Preserve, a beautiful land with critical wildlife habitat and public trails. Join us on Friday, November 15, from 1:30-3:30 PM, to restore essential wildlife habitat by planting native trees that benefit local wildlife, improve water quality, and enhance air quality. You will also gain valuable insights into ecological restoration and our innovative approach to land conservation.

What we are doing: We will be planting native shrubs and trees to support local wildlife and provide more ecosystem benefits. This is a special site to Forterra and a great spot to learn about ecological restoration, Patterson Creek Preserve, and Forterra’s role as an unconventional land trust.

What to bring: Please wear weather appropriate gear and bring a water bottle. Gloves are provided as are all tools and materials.

Where to Park: Patterson Creek Preserve – please park at the end of the road marked with Forterra signs. https://goo.gl/maps/hWmhfAm9JbCJyE938
