Help care for North SeaTac Park with Green Sea Tac

June 19 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Help steward (take care of) North SeaTac Park. This urban oasis under the flight paths of SeaTac Airport, have trees and plants that help provide a natural sound barrier.

We will focus on removing blackberry, ivy, and thistle weeds that have re-emerged in areas that were already cleared – with a special attention to protecting newly-planted trees. Come learn some habitat restoration basics and help out your community!

Tools, gloves, and instruction will be provided.

This event is open to people of all ages and abilities.
